Prototyping, Animation, and Interaction Design Tutorials

Resource Type

Video tutorials, teaching reflections, and classroom examples for interaction design, web design, prototyping, and animation.

Overview

This resource gathers a brief set of tutorials and teaching reflections on using tools such as Adobe XD, Figma, HTML/CSS, and lightweight web animation in interaction design and web design courses.

The conversation began with a recommendation from Chris, who shared several tutorial videos that have been helping students improve their prototyping work. The larger discussion raised an important teaching question: how can we help students explore engaging animation and interaction techniques without encouraging them to design things they cannot realistically build?

This page can be used by design instructors, teaching assistants, and students learning to move from static layouts to interactive prototypes and working web experiences.
